Day Trip to Lukomir
Lukomir is a place where time seems to stand still. At 1,495 meters above sea level, it is the highest and most isolated village in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The stone houses reflect centuries-old architectural traditions. The village offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the dramatic Rakitnica Canyon, which we will hike along on our way there and back. A visit to Lukomir not just a journey to a village, but feels like a step back in time.
