If you have decided to conquer the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Maglic, standing at 2386 meters above sea level, you are in the right place. Our adventure begins with your arrival at our agency no later than 7:30 a.m. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and embark on our off-road vehicle towards the plateau of Prijevor. After departing from the agency, we can expect a 30-minute drive to reach Tjentiste. Our journey continues towards Prijevor, with an additional 1-hour drive ahead.
Upon reaching the plateau of Prijevor, nestled at the foot of Maglic and surrounded by the massifs of Volujak and Zelengora, we arrive at the starting point of our ascent to the highest peak of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The trail leading to the summit is demanding and challenging, so we do not recommend it for those who are unsure of themselves and not bold enough for this climb. The ascent from Prijevor to the summit takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the group size and participants’ readiness.
During the ascent, breathtaking views unfold before your eyes, which will certainly not leave you indifferent, making the climb itself easier. After the ascent, a reward awaits you for the effort and desire to conquer the peak. Upon reaching the summit, the scene you will experience is indescribable in words. The view overlooking Volujak, Zelengora, Trnovacko Lake, and the surrounding peaks such as Trzivka and Trnovacki Durmitor will be utilized for a lunch break, photography, and to gather energy for the return journey back to Prijevor.
After returning to Prijevor, we make our way back to the agency’s premises. If weather permits, we may also visit the Beskita viewpoint, located in the Perucica Primeval Forest, during the return journey.
Upon arrival at the agency, this marks the end of our time together, and your arrangement concludes.
